July proved to be another successful trip with twelve volunteers. We went to Clarendon and served the residents of Mitchell Town, Portland Cottage and Rocky Point treating over 400 patients. On this trip,CAMEO adopted the Mitchell Town Primary School to assist them with books and school supplies. Several pencils, crayons, etc. were donated to the teachers as a start for the coming semester. We also donated a computer to Mr. Winston Maragh, Counselor for the area for the community center (slated to be opened in September), to do hospitality training. We have also made arrangements to do educational training in Diabetes at least once per month and to train first responders in First Aid and CPR at this center. Thanks to Mr. Maragh for his invaluable assistance in coordinating this trip.
