Thanks to all our friends and volunteers who made our fundraising banquet a really memorable event. Our banquet was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Sunrise on Saturday, November 10th, 2007. Our compliments to the chef who made the wonderful escovitch snapper that had our Jamaican guests thinking they were back in Jamaica and our non-Jamaicans crying from the pepper but enjoying it anyway. Congratulations to all the lucky winners of our fantastic give-a-away prizes and our thanks to the many sponsors who supplied them. Our thanks also goes to our DJ, C-Roy "The Entertainer", who got us up on the dance floor and to the live performance of Pluto Shervington who kept us on it that it had to take the hotel staff to kick us off in the wee hours of the morning. We hope all our guests came away with a sense of pride for helping us to make a difference in the lives of the patients we serve. We look forward to seeing you all again at our event next year.
